Skrappy Skrapperson's Great Adventures Author Visits the Library
Meet children's author Shannon Howell in the Community Room at the Reedsburg Public Library during Frosty Fest! Shannon spent her early years in rural Oregon playing outdoors with her trusty four legged friends. Always the day dreamer she thought of many characters for stories as a young child. Now she has put them to pen with the help of her favorite companion Skrappy Skrapperson her Siberian Husky she adopted in Wisconsin. Together Shannon and Skrappy have had many happy adventures, exploring the gentle rolling hills of Wisconsin and the surrounding areas. Skrappy is such a character in real life that he became the inspiration for the Skrappy Skrapperson book series. When Shannon is not writing you can find her in the quaint Village of Loganville, Wisconsin, surrounded by friends and family. She and her husband Jim work side by side operating Aunt Ozie's Cafe, their family owned business. For information about all upcoming library programs, contact the Reedsburg Public Library at 768-7323 or visit the library's website: reedsburglibrary.org
