For the past 16 years\, she's been working with gourds as a foundational material to create 3-dimensional ornamental objects inspired by nature. Her work with gourds includes carving\, drawing\, metal inlays\, painting\, and other embellishments\, including found objects. This is Connie's first public exhibit of her work.\n\n...\n\nAncestra\, featuring Carol Harm\, Kathryn Ripp\, and Lauranne Bailey is a Madison-based women's a cappella trio that has been writing and performing hearted-centered songs of spiritual and personal journeys since 2003. Their arrangements feature tight harmonies that are broadly influenced by rock\, blues\, gospel and country.
