DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, March 12\, 2019\, 7 AM-7 PM: The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County invites you to join us for a day of exploration\, learning and fun in Monroe! Travel comfortably in a deluxe motor coach with all the amenities. Depart Reedsburg Shopko at 7 AM and return at 7 PM. Depart Baraboo Sauk County Campus at 7:30 AM and return at 6:30 PM. This excursion includes a step-on guide for a barn quilt tour\, brewery tour\, cheese plant tour and shopping. You will learn about the architecture of the barns\, local agriculture and stories about the families and the farms. We will visit Minhas Craft Brewery\, home to the nation's second oldest brewery and tour the Alp and Dell Cheese plant\, managed by a native of Switzerland\, who is also an accomplished yodeler. We will make a stop at the Swiss Colony Outlet Stores\, featuring cheese\, sausages\, candies and bakery including the famous Swiss Colony petit fours and Dobosh tortes.
