DESCRIPTION:Sauk County Historical Society is hosting Sunday in the Cemetery Living History Tour at the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Fascinating people will once again come back to life at the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Baraboo. Tour participants will be guided through the cemetery to hear the stories of nine people of the past including Phillip Pointon\, a successful pottery manufacturer from Staffordshire\, England\, Joseph Nedimovic\, a bootlegger who was shot during Prohibition\, Perliett Carpenter\, a young debutante who died too young\, and Alma Waite\, philanthropist and cousin to the Ringling brothers. Personal stories of triumph and tragedy will come to life when told by costumed reenactors at the beautiful and historic Walnut Hill Cemetery.
