Sauk County is known to have had at least two drummer boys who served during the Civil War. Both George Inman of LaValle and Frank Pettis of Reedsburg ran away to join the Unon Army. Inman was 15 when he joined and Pettis was only 11. Both served with distinction and survived the war. Come and enjoy as their amazing stories are told.
