SUMMARY:Halloween Hike & Pumpkin Carving Contest at Devil's Lake State Park
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Devil's Lake State Park are delighted to welcome everyone to the annual Halloween Hike and Pumpkin Carving Contest! At 3:00pm until 5:30pm at the North Shore\, between the Chateau and the Visitor's Center\, we will host a special pumpkin carving contest. Four categories (0-5\, 6-11\, 12-17\, and 18+ years) will be judged on their creativity for carving the most amazing pumpkin. There are a bunch of great prizes to giveaway including a 2023 State Park Pass!\n\n\n\nFrom 6:00pm until 8:30pm\, join us for a one-mile torch torch-lit hike. After your brisk autumn saunter\, stay and socialize by the fire. Sue Johansen-Mayoleth\, our Park Naturalist will once again have a lot of fun activities including crafts and trivia\, with a snake theme this year.
