SUMMARY:Gone But Not Forgotten by Sauk County Historical Society
DESCRIPTION:Gone But Not Forgotten Presentation. If you haven't visited Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells in a while you might be surprised at all of the changes. It seems each year brings some new attraction in place of something else. Some attractions last for years and some for decades becoming part of the vacation memories for generations of family members. Change is often inevitable however and even icons can become memories. Attractions like the Wonder Spot\, Biblical Gardens\, Familyland\, and Riverview Park are now gone but live on in the memory of millions of people from across the country.\n\n\n\nThese four former attractions and a few others will be the subject of a presentation on Thursday\, August 25th at 7 pm at the Frank Fischer Center\, 20 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy S\, in Lake Delton. \n\nThis nostalgic look at these former Dells area mainstays is sure to be a trip down memory lane for some and a glimpse of what used to be for others. The presentation will be given online one week later on September 1 at 7 pm for those that can't make it in person. \n\n\n\nREGISTER FOR THE LIVESTREAM PRESENTATION\n\n\n\nQuestions call (608) 356-1001 or email history@saukcountyhistory.org
