SUMMARY:Giving Back Tour with Able Trek Tours
DESCRIPTION:Able Trek Tours is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area for this "Giving Back" Tour. All profits from this trip will be donated to Habitat. We thank you in advance for your participation in this effort.\n\nAn architectural marvel of the late 1800's\, Galena suffered through decades of neglect before a magnificent restoration began in the 1960's. Today this historic and charming village boasts dozens of antique\, collectable and boutique stores\, plus unique restaurants and art galleries. We'll welcome a local guide aboard our motor coach who will introduce us to the history\, architecture and magic of Galena. We'll tour three of Galen's most impressive homes   US Grant Home\, Belvedere Mansion\, and the Dowling House. We'll also have almost three hours to explore\, shop and enjoy lunch (self-pay) in downtown Galena.\n\n\n\nNext we'll take a scenic fall colors drive north to the incredible Potosi Brewing Company. Here we'll enjoy a delicious included supper and admission to the Brewery Museum\, the Great River Road Interpretive Center and the Transportation Museum. There will be time to shop in the gift shop\, visit Whispering Bluffs Winery across the street and enjoy a Potosi Brew if you so choose. A guest host from Habitat for Humanity will join on this "Giving Back" tour.
