The world renowned and very exclusive North Barrington\, Illinois Wandering Tree Estate\, home of the TRAIN LADY\, Elaine Silets is not open to the public - except for a few days each year. Don't miss out on this chance to explore her elaborate and massive model locomotive filled estate garden! The Garden Railway includes gardens\, waterfalls\, lakes\, trestles\, bridges\, replica Chicago cityscapes and pastoral vignettes! The indoor model railroad museum will also be on display as well as the Shabui water and Japanese stream garden.Elaine Silets is an internationally recognized designer and manufacturer of Model Railroads & Garden Railways and will give us an introduction talk upon our arrival. Elaine has produced Model Railroads and Garden Railways that have been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show\, The Today Show\, and The Discovery Channel!! \n\n \n\nAfter visiting Wandering Tree we'll enjoy an included lunch in a historic 1927 Illinois Railroad Dining Car at Chessie's Restaurant in Barrington\, IL.
