DESCRIPTION:The Sauk County Historical Society and the Wisconsin Archeological Society will gather at the Devil's Lake Bird Mound at Devil's Lakesouth shore to note the Centennial of the placement of a brass plaque marker\, to learn more about effigy mounds\, and to renew the commitment to their preservation. Visitors are encouraged to join in a pot-latch style picnic. Interested members are asked to bring a dish to pass and your own lawn chair.
