DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled. \n\nAble Trek Tours is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin River Area for this "Giving Back" Tour. All profits from this trip will be donated to Habitat. We thank you in advance for your participation in this effort.\n\n\n\nLocated on the banks of the Mississippi River in Prairie du Chien\, Villa Louis is the home of one of Wisconsin's most historic families. We'll be entrenched in the lifestyle of the prosperous Dousman family including a guided tour of their Victorian home\, meticulously restored to its 1890's British Arts & Crafts splendor. You'll learn about the incredible history of this Estate which was at one time the site of Fort Crawford and the location of the only Wisconsin battle of the War of 1812. A motor coach tour of Prairie du Chien\, hosted by a Villa Louis guide\, will deliver more history and treasures about this riverside town.\n\nNext we'll take a scenic fall colors drive to the incredible Potosi Brewing Company. Here we'll enjoy a delicious lunch with included admission to the Brewery Museum\, the Great River Road Interpretive Center and the Transportation Museum. There will be time to shop in the gift shop\, visit Whispering Bluffs Winery across the street and enjoy a Potosi Brew if you so choose.\n\nOn our way home we'll make a stop in Mineral Point for a short walking tour of this charming community.
