DESCRIPTION:Camping For Cans- Reedsburg Boy Scouts Troop 247 In Front of Viking Village Foods - Reedsburg. Our local Boy Scout Troop 247 - Reedsburg\, WI along with their leader\, Julus Paul\, will be camping out in front of our store. Make sure to mark your calendar and stop by with non-perishable items for a donation. All items collected will be donated to the local food pantry. Viking Village Grocery matches donations item for item in the food drive. Filled carts keep the food pantry stocked. Spending 24 hours in the cold promoting Homelessness Awareness and Collecting Food for the Food Pantry. This is their Troop's version of Scouting for Food! They will also have a brat stand with 1/2 the funds going to a local homeless shelter. Food and Cash donations stay right here in Reedsburg to help those in need! This camp is COLD! Dress warm\, bring an extra sleeping bag! Some boys opt to stay up all night "begging" for food. Last camping for cans collected 2\,221 food items! Let's beat that goal!\n\nCamp is free but we ask each Scout family to bring at least 12 food items to get us started!
