DESCRIPTION:Become a Voyageur! Ride the Voyageur Canoe! Join the Friends of Devil's Lake State Park for a truly a hands-on experience in history and camaraderie into the fur trade era and the lives of its most colorful participants - the Voyageurs.\n\n \n\nYou'll be able to paddle a 28-foot Voyageur canoe and learn about the Voyageur way of life. You will step into the past with Jean Paul Pauquette and Jacques Largillier as your guides. This program is great for all ages! This program was made possible by an Incentive Grant from The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks and funding provided by The Friends of Devil's Lake State Park.\n\n \n\nMeet by the Rock Elm Shelter near the North Shore Boat Launch. Event takes place both Friday\, July 28th and Saturday\, July 29th from 12:00pm until 8:00pm each day.
