DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, July 15\, 2017\, 5-8 PM:  The Art of Ho-Chunk Basket Making Exhibit Opening\,  \n\nNative Presence Gallery\, 412 1/2 Broadway\, Wisconsin Dells\, WI. This once utilitarian baskets have become prized art objects that are enjoyed by collectors from all over the world. This exhibition presents an array of historic and contempoary Ho-Chunk baskets from the collections of JoAnn Jones\, Tom Jones and Michael Schmudlach.\n\n\nThere will be a special signing by the authors of People of the Big Voice: Photographs of Ho-Chunk Families by Charles Van Schaick\, 1879-1942.  Music by violinist Brenna Two Bears (Ho-Chunk). The exhibit will be available July 15-August 14\, 2017.
