DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand!  Apple Pie Contest - Sunday\, October 9\, 2:30 - 5:00 (or until pie lasts!) at Ferme Lab\, 300 Vine Street/Reedsburg.  Open to anyone who wishes to bake an apple pie (individual or teams).  We can still use entrants!  One entry per person/team.  Two divisions: Junior (age 7   16) and Adult (age 17+).  Send us your intent to submit (by reply email) and bring your pie to the Ferme Lab after 9 AM on Sunday.  Judging will begin at 3:30 PM   come watch your entry and bring your rooters!  Then stay to taste the pies as we'll sell them by the slice for a suggested donation of $2.  Judges will be Peter Reinhart\, one of the world's leading authorities on bread\; Jennifer Mans\, owner of Humble Sweet and Savory Pies in Madison\; and Craig Braunschweig\, Director of Rock Springs Public Library (who likes pie). http://fermentationfest.com/event/apple-pie-contest
