DESCRIPTION:Friday\, June 29\, 2018\, 8 AM-4 PM: Adult Mental Health First Aid Training is being offered at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center\, 2000 N Dewey Ave\, Reedsburg\, in the Lower Level Education Room. Did you know you're more likely to experience someone in a mental or emotional crisis than someone having a heart attack? This course teaches a 5-step action plan to offer initial help to people with the signs and symptoms of a mental illness or in a crisis\, and connect them with the appropriate professional\, peer\, social\, or self-help care. This is normally an $80/person course\, but through a grant\, it is completely free! To register\, contact Jodie Molitor 608-768-6247 or jmolitor@ramchealth.org. A second opportunity will be Wed\, July 25 & Thurs\, July 26\, 4-8 PM each day at the Fusch Community Center.
