DESCRIPTION:Habitat for Humanity of the Wisconsin River Area and Portage ReStore are hosting a 9/11 Veteran's Day of Service & Remembrance Ceremony in Portage. This ceremony will remember those who lost their lives on that tragic day as well as recognizing those who rose up in response to 9/11. \n\n\n\nLocal and state dignitaries have been invited to speak.  This ceremony is open to the public to show support.\n\n\n\nFollowing the Ceremony veterans are invited to participate in a community service project to assemble & pack community donated items in care boxes. that will be taken to local First Responders throughout Sauk and Columbia counties to show gratitude and support for what they do on a daily basis.
