Do you have family photos stuck into "magnetic" page picture albums? Have you ever wondered if great grandma's quilts should be folded or rolled? Sauk County Historical Society (SCHS) is partnering with the Reedsburg Public Library's Local History and Genealogy Group to present a workshop on preserving family photos and heirlooms like books, clothing, and quilts. SCHS Curator Sara Oostdik will be presenting best practices for photo labeling, digitization, and preservation along with helpful hints on preserving other family treasures such as textiles and printed materials.
